Culinary Job Training Program

Starting June 6th, Feeding South Florida will be hosting the latest culinary job training cohort. This is your chance to train for a career in the culinary industry.

Designed by James Beard nominated chef, Lindsay Autry, this 12 week course will teach you the skills needed to start your culinary career!

You’ll learn about meats, poultry, fish, sauces, menu planning, knife skills, gain hands-on experience, and more!

There are some eligibility requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Have a high school diploma/GED or working towards GED.
  • Must prove reliability and interest in pursuing a culinary career.
  • Have experienced financial hardship (unemployment, underemployment, government assistance, etc.) during the last 12 months.
  • Must agree to a background check and drug test.
  • Be able to attend classes Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3 pm.
Culinary Training
